So. This is where the Rural Studio comes from...

It seems as if the pallette of materials and forms is right here in Newbern.

From the College of Architecture at Virginia Tech to Savannah GA to Washington DC to the School of Architecture at the University of Virginia to historic Staunton, I have lived where I could draw - and traveled to interesting places to draw. I make Architectural Map-Drawings, combining plans, elevations and perspectives to illustrate dynamic spatial relationships and memories within historic places.
