New Calary Cemetery from the BQE, Manhattan beyond
Northampton MA.
Governors Island
favorite New York moments: Being met at the airport by a gentleman with a pink bag, misty walk through verdant Riverside Park, familiarity of Park Slope, simultaneous stroke of gas station ice cream, Northampton pedestrians, Kim & Cara and their home sweet home, driving through the mountains, turrets and brownstones, surprising Savannah W. and sharing another Avetts show while reminiscing on past shows, the Word of Wisdom and so much more, juicy catch-up while walking Fashion Avenue with Reba, monochromatic lunch and monchromatic dinner, running in heels to catch the ferry to Governors Island and touring with an excellent guide, appreciating the Battery and southern tip of Manhattan from the grassy grounds of the fort, filmfest and especially the premiere of The Magic Suit, hugs from Haylie, layers of wallpaper and pre-1930s linoleum of the time capsule Tenement Museum, streetside Thai and lots of quality time with Alison!
Everything was pretty much perfect - even the flight cancellations. My only regret is the death of my camera battery while I tried to capture the block of 446-338 State Street in Brooklyn for my New York Streetscape commission. I guess I'll have to go back.

What a captivating concept, book, website. Thank you so much, savoury toothed tiger! It reminds me of a little drawing I made one time. I'll post it someday.
