Little Rock, Arkansas

Afton took me out for two days of sight-seeing Little Rock - from the steps of the capitol, the downtown business district, the Arkansas riverfront - on both sides, the crest of the hill, and the old quarry.Public trolley moves people between Little Rock and North Little Rock.former railroad bridge now conveys pedestrians across the Arkansas River. The drawbridge portion remains up for ships and an elevator/stair bridges the height difference. The Capitol entrance has an odd relationship with the approaching street. The portico doesn't align with the street, as evidenced by the curving walkway.
