Time was slipping quickly, and I was due to sleep tonight in Little Rock, Arkansas. I considered not going to Tuscaloosa, but the name won me over - as well as the images in this beautiful book, The Most Beautiful Villages and Towns in the South: Bonnie Ramsey, photographs by Dennis O'Kain. 
But, my timing was off and all I saw were crawling traffic, roads lined with parked cars in the grass, and fields and fields of tailgaters. I saw The Crimson Tide.
